It's All About the Journey
No matter how many times I sit in on a business blogging workshop with Mike Sansone, I'm never bored. There's always new tools to learn about or maybe one that I understand the functionality of more completely. But most of all it's the community interaction that's really fun for me. I like to hear what all these people are doing - where they work or what their business is, how they are going to use blogs, etc. The flavor and energy of the workshops differs greatly depending on the participants.
Today was no exception. The morning session seemed lively and everyone talked more. There was a pronounced excitement about what they were doing and learning about. But that might not be fair. I remember working all morning and rushing to get enough work done in order to leave the office and get to an afternoon workshop. That can be exhausting. And sometimes there's so much to absorb that I just want to listen. But this was a participatory session and we did all loosen up a bit. I thoroughly enjoyed both sessions - it was a great day for me.
And, since I want to continue to progress, it's time to launch this website, even though it's not done, or perfect. My blog on WordPress was fun for awhile, but I really enjoy using TypePad more. I have posted enough on iowabizevents.com and iowablogs.net that I'm familiar with the tool. Since photos are important (to me), I'll probably include one that expresses my feelings about the post - either my own or one from one of the photo blogs that I enjoy. And, this new blog will evolve right along with me. It truly is a journey.
