Focus on One Great Thing

Again, it's after 11 pm and I'm just getting around to writing a post. For inspiration tonight, I'm continuing to read through Focus Like a Laser Beam by Lisa Haneberg.

My to do list is quite lengthy, and some days I can't seem to focus on the important things because I get lost in the small items. I've tried to make a short daily list. I've done the hardest thing first. Those both helped, but what got my attention now is the message to "commit to doing one great thing each day" from the chapter entitled "Do One Great  Thing."

Now this is appealing to me. And doing it first so I feel good because I accomplished my goal. Everything else that gets done will be a bonus.

What one great thing did you do today? What is one thing you can do tomorrow to move your project forward?

Sandra: You're not alone. It seems like everything going on in daily life tends keep us really busy while pulling us away from dedicating the time and energy to what really matters most. Check out Onegreatthing.org, or more importantly go get a copy of the book "One Great Thing" and you will find that it deals with exactly what you are expressing, along with some realistic ways to maximize your energy spent each day on what matters to you most. I think it is cheapest right now on Amazon, but you can get a signed copy from the author site.

Best of luck to you!
