Fuelmyblog Offers Another Glimpse of the Blogosphere

Have you signed up for Fuelmyblog, "the great wall of Blogs"?

I like this site because it's visual and gives me a glimpse of the diversity of the blogging community. A lot of these blogs are located in parts of the world other than the U.S. so it offers a view of our blogging buddies around the globe. It's fun to find our similarities.

No, they're not all about business, and neither is life. That's why I 'm posting it on the weekend. It's one of those "take what you like and leave the rest" things.

With over 60 million blogs, it's a creative way to find new sites. Why did Kevin Dixie create this site? Here's what he has to say about it:

I designed fuelmyblog as a way of giving me the chance to easily find more blogs about any topic.  . . .

Here are a few interesting (to me) sites I found at fuelmyblog

• The Write Stuff (a writer from Australia)
• The Work at Home Scam Blog (who hasn't looked at ads and wondered if they were true)
• Cyndi's Corner (I am originally from Sioux Falls and we like the same SuperBowl ad)
• Moroccan Vocabulary (fun site - visiting another country without leaving my home - love the photos)
• World Around Us (a tech support engineer from the Phillipines who happens to be a Libra, me  too)
• The Working Writer's Coach  (another writer - yeah)

Kevin features a blog of the day on Fuelmyblog. And this site has recently attracted the attention of radio and newspapers. He also reports there's new programming in the works to improve the functionality.

I really enjoy the creativity in the blogosphere!

To borrow the terminology from a friend of mine: this is raw (vs cooked) . . . but more on that later.

It seems that we share an interest in strolling around the World with a mouse!

The site is going to be changed very soon, from being clunky like now (this was an experiment one month ago!) it will be very slick and cool, you'll even be able to vote on blogs you like and chat with others in the forum.
