Bathroom Blogfest '07: Interesting Ceiling in Ladiesroom

This is a photo of a ceiling in a local Mexican restaurant. Kind of interesting. Don't know how easy it would be to clean though. I've never seen this technique and wonder if it is a custom in parts of the world. Do you know?

The above photo is the ceiling.
Below is a photo of the brown cork cedar chip wall  and part of the ceiling.

Sandy, I LOVE that place, we just ate there Friday night. Yes, I recognize the bathroom - hey, it's distinctive! I think the wall is cedar chip-board, though, instead of cork (maybe it's cedar cork?) because in the winter, when they have the heat on, the cedar smell is overwhelming. I love the food here, and the Mexican crafts/art are neat to look at. ~ Janet

Hi Janet,
It's a fun place. I'm looking forward to going there again. I went the first time just recently and enjoyed the ceiling.

He.. oh that was amazing how they do that? actually, its kind of hard to clean that type of ceiling. by the way you can also check some of handcrafts gifts at www.handcarvedgifts.com which also has a unique concept of design you can choose.
