Snow is Melting...
Yesterday and today the temps are high enough that the snow is melting. Most of the people I talk to are really tired of winter. We've had extremely cold weather and plenty of snow. I haven't checked the stats for the year or compared them to prior years, but it seems like a very harsh winter to me. The birds and squirrels are finding it difficult to get to food. Can I just say, that's an awesome photo! Here in the UK, they are predicting our first snow of 2008 tomorrow. As I got a new camera for Christmas it's going to be fun seeing if I can get as good a quality shot as that.

Does that mean I have to wait another year to see snow? I planned to go touch snow this season but... here in China airlines and roads to the North are blocked and I can't do so.
